"Congratulations" to the following two JOM Students! Coach Sneed, basketball coach @ Lone Star School, nominated Judson Merrell & Ember Primeaux that were selected to participate in the ORES Inter-Tribal Rising Stars Game Saturday, March 29, 2025 @ the Mvskoke Dome in Okmulgee on behalf of the MCN Recreation Department!
Over 100 student/athletes representing over 40 schools from across the state will be showcased. This is the 4th annual all-tribal basketball tournament for individual 8th graders who are graduating from an Oklahoma Rural Elementary School (ORES). The Rising Stars Game is highlighting students who work hard on the court and off the court.
The JOM Program is very proud of these athletes!

The Indian Education Department will be having a "JOM Cultural Family Night" Tuesday, February 4, 2025 @ 6:30 PM in the Lone Star Dining Hall Storm Shelter (Cafeteria) painting a Mvskoke Word on canvas! Please bring your child or children around back to park and participate in painting a Mvskoke Word on canvas. Any parent/guardian of a Lone Star enrolled student is eligible to attend!
