The Indian Education Department would like to “MVTO” those JOM Families that made it out Saturday, August 10, 2024 for the back to school “School Supply” distribution! The Muscogee (Creek) Nation Youth Services & ACE where in attendance handing out literature with information about their programs!

The Lone Star Johnson O'Malley Program will be distributing back to school - "School Supplies" Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 10:00AM through 2:00PM in the Indian Education Department, Room #108, located in the JH Building next to the Event Center (North end). Your child must have his/her own Citizenship Card or Tribal letter and enrolled in the Lone Star School district to be eligible for services. "Congratulations" to the following four JOM Students!

Coach Sneed, basketball coach @ Lone Star School, nominated Meeko Coon, Jayden Kellum, Ryleigh McKinney & Finley Yocham that were selected to participate in the ORES Inter-Tribal Rising Stars Game Saturday, March 30th @ the Mvskoke Dome in Okmulgee on behalf of the MCN Recreation Department!

Over 100 student/athletes representing over 40 schools from across the state will be showcased. This is the 3rd annual all-tribal basketball tournament for individual 8th graders who are graduating from an Oklahoma Rural Elementary School (ORES). The Rising Stars Game is highlighting students who work hard on the court and off the court.

The JOM Program is very proud of these athletes!

The Indian Education Department will be having a "JOM Cultural Family Night" Thursday, February 22, 2024 @ 6:00PM in the Lone Star Dining Hall Storm Shelter (Cafeteria) making a Woven Game Ball with Britteny Cuevas! Please bring your child or children around back to park and participate in a Woven Game Ball making activity used for Stickball.
